Happy 2010 to all!
I don't know about you but I am determined that this year will be a great year.  I am determined that I am not going to let all the things that tend to go wrong bother me or force me to quit.  (You notice I did leave out, slow down, after all, I'm only human.)
I am working on a new website just for socializing.  It will be a place where those with disabilities and those without can go to and share information.  Ask questions of each other and give guidance.  I want it to be a safe place for parents, kids, teens and health professionals.  A place where we can all work together.  I hope to have it up and running by month's end.  If you are interested in being updated when the site becomes available, just send me a quick email, with the subject heading "social" and I'll add you to the list.
Until then if there is anything that you would like to see on this website, let me know.  I want to build and expand but I need your help to do so.
Pam

Facing a mirror you see merely your own countenance; facing your child you finally understand how everyone else has seen you.

We are looking for 1000 people to donate $10 each.
These donations will go for current grant requests for a child with special needs.  With your help and that of 5 of your friends, colleagues and relatives, we can meet our current requests.

Our Mission is assisting families of children with special needs in helping their child reach his/her maximum potential through information, referral, education, and modest grants for medical and therapeutic equipment, not covered by health insurance.  By helping children with special needs in reaching their maximum potential, we are giving them the greatest gift that we can.
