Young Life Capernaum

It is our special duty, that if anyone needs our help, we should give him such help to the utmost of our power.      -- Cicero

What is Young Life Capernum?
Capernaum is Young Life's (
www.younglife.org) outreach to young people with physical and/or mental disabilities.  The goal of Capernaum is to give kids with disabilities the same chance to hear the Gospel and experience the gift of life as able-bodies kids.
Young Life is a non-denominational organization committed to making an impact on kids' lives and preparing them for the future.  It is active in all 50 states and more than 45 countries, reaching an estimated 1 million teenagers annually.

What is Capernaum Club?
Club is FREE and starts with a social time with music where kids' hang out, eat pizza and dance.  At 6:30 we start the activities and fun stuff with an emphasis on fun and involvement from all.  We also break into boys and girls small group and discuss life.  Later comes the Club Talk, where a leader tells a story about Jesus and his teacings.  Then we have announcements where the kids can bring up their birthdays, grades, teams and other stuff they're doing.  They love talking on the microphone!
