Happiness is a by-product of an effort to make someone else happy.
-- Gretta Brooker Palmer

While searching the Internet I came across the "Virginia Yellow Pages for Kids" at http://www.yellowpagesforkids.com/.
They have a drop down menu for all 50 states.
The information consists of
educational consultants, psychologists, educational diagnosticians, health care providers, academic therapists, tutors, speech language therapists, occupational therapists, coaches, advocates, and attorneys for children with disabilities on the Yellow Pages for Kids for your state.
You will also find special education schools, learning centers, treatment programs, parent groups, respite care, community centers, grassroots organizations, and government programs for children with disabilities.

About 10 years ago, I came across a group of women entitled, "Mothers from Hell." The mothers ignited humor into there advocacy for their children with special needs. I remember telling my family about them and they snubbed their noses because the group had the word "hell" in their title. That's the kind of attitude that you get from those that are too stupid to know better. So, today they came up in a conversation. I had almost forgotten about them. Lucky for you, I didn't. You can visit them at www.mothersfromhell2.org. I promise you you'll enjoy ever-burning moment with them. And make sure you tell them that I sent you there.

It's that time where I have to start thinking about my son's future (in long term.)  So, I contacted the Canine Companions for Independence about a dog for my son, who turns 15 on June 2nd.  And in visiting their website I came across "Marvelous Mercer."  Marvelous Mercer is an assistance dog for a 12-year-old little girl (who is probably the youngest published author next to Mozart.)  So, if you're looking for a good read, please visit her website at www.marvelousmercer.com.
